Group Chief Commercial Development Officer, you will be responsible for onboarding new projects, implementing and improving operations, and providing administrative support. The following are key responsibilities associated with the role:
- Ensure that the team understands expectations and consistently meets or exceeds Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor and assist in training logistics shipment managers to ensure consistent operational performance and high levels of customer service.
- Ensure that all logistics jobs are managed properly in accordance with internal administrative and financial procedures and requirements.
- Assist in the development of forms and tools that increase company and operational efficiency.
- Manage all staff reporting to the position, including recruitment, training, evaluation, motivation, delegation, and monitoring of their activities.
- Keep the manager informed of task accomplishment, issues, and status updates.
- Work closely with country managers on vendor selection, management, and pricing.
- Provide status reports on team activities, tracking progress against program plans or schedules.
- Monitor, measure, and manage the performance and service quality of the team.
- Coordinate meetings with the Global Manager to discuss any impediments, resource needs, or issues/delays in task completion.
- Monitor the progress of jobs and services throughout the region, including planning, execution, and billing.
- Conduct systematic reviews of jobs to identify and address potential challenges in advance, proactively addressing them with the team.
- Establish times, places, and agendas for job planning, and discuss any challenges associated with the tasks.
- Develop processes, design documentation standards, techniques, and tools to support task performance and operational efficiency.
