Job Description:
We are looking for a Radiology Consultant to join our reputable facility. As a Radiologist, you will utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose and treat injuries and diseases. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and interpreting medical images: You will examine medical images, such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds, to assess the patient’s condition and determine the appropriate medical care.
- Ordering necessary imaging: Based on your evaluation, you will determine the specific images required for an accurate diagnosis and communicate the orders to Radiological Technicians.
- Administering radioactive substances: In some cases, you may need to administer trace amounts of radioactive substances to patients to create enhanced diagnostic images.
- Performing minimally invasive surgical techniques: With the assistance of image guidance, you will perform minimally invasive procedures like embolization, angioplasty, and ablation.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals: You will work closely with Primary Care Doctors, Nurses, and Radiology Technicians to administer treatments and manage pain effectively.
- Monitoring patient progress: It will be your responsibility to closely monitor the progress of patients undergoing treatment and make adjustments to the treatment plan as necessary.
