Job Description: Production Supervisor (Biscuit Factory)
Position Summary: The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production operations in a biscuit factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical technical background, with expertise in machinery troubleshooting, and a minimum of three years of experience in food production. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the efficient functioning of production machinery and to maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Operations:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and production schedules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any machinery-related issues that may arise during production.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to schedule and carry out routine maintenance and repairs.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Machinery Troubleshooting:
- Utilize strong mechanical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions.
- Analyze machinery performance data to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address mechanical failures and minimize downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and support to operators in the operation and maintenance of machinery.
- Quality Control:
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the production process.
- Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or customer complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Team Management:
