Job Title: Marine Engineer – 2-Stroke Engines
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Engineer with expertise in 2-stroke engines to join our team. As a Marine Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, overhauling, and repair of 2-stroke engines on our marine vessels. Additionally, you will lead a diverse crew, collaborating with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. The right candidate will possess a good personality, a positive attitude, and proficiency in English. This role requires relocation and willingness to stay in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
- 2-Stroke Engine Expertise: Utilize your in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with MAN two (2) stroke engines to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety of marine vessels.
- Maintenance and Overhauling: Conduct regular maintenance tasks and oversee complete engine overhauls to minimize downtime and maximize engine efficiency.
- Installation and Repair: Handle engine installations and address any issues or breakdowns promptly to ensure uninterrupted vessel operation.
- Leadership: Lead and manage a multicultural crew, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment while promoting safety and adherence to best practices.
- English Proficiency: Effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to interact with the team and prepare reports/documentation.
- MS Office Proficiency: Utilize MS Office applications to generate reports, maintain records, and communicate effectively within the organization.
