Position: HR Officer
Job Summary: The HR Officer will work closely with various departments, providing support to line managers in understanding and implementing policies and procedures. They will manage HR data, execute HR process delivery, and ensure compliance with HR policies. The HR Officer will also advise the workforce on HR policies, resolve employee queries, and contribute to the overall development and improvement of the HR function.
Responsibilities:
- Policy and Procedure Management:
- Develop and implement policies on various HR issues, such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures, and absence management.
- Update current policies and procedures in line with organizational needs.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops on Alaraby’s policies and procedures.
- HR Process Delivery:
- Assist line managers in understanding and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Provide HR information and manage HR data effectively.
- Support 360 Full Cycle Recruitment and Selection when required.
- Introduce performance appraisal schemes for bonus and salary reviews.
- Employee Support and Query Resolution:
- Provide query resolution services to employees, following defined processes.
- Problem-solve employment queries and issues, offering resolutions or escalating to the relevant Business Manager or Head of HR.
- Advise the workforce on the latest HR policies and processes.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Produce analysis and recommendations based on HR data to ensure accurate maintenance of people-related data and personnel files, while ensuring confidentiality.
- Utilize relevant systems and data to gain insights into departmental issues and problems.
- Contribute to HR projects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Induction and Training:
- Devise and deliver an induction program for new staff members.
- Create user guides and training manuals for Alaraby’s policies, HR workflow systems, and processes.
- Train senior managers on Alaraby policies, HR workflow systems, and processes.
- Meeting Support:
- Take meeting minutes during grievance and disciplinary investigations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Officer or similar position.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to utilize HR data for insights and reporting.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
