Role Description: As the Director of Alliance Management, you will be a visible member of the Corporate Development team, representing Pharmanovia externally and positioning the company as a global partner of choice for innovative, orphan, and value-added medicines. The role involves creating an alliance management framework that fosters strong strategic partnerships and delivers long-term results. You will be the primary point of contact for Strategic Partners, representing their views within the organization and championing their needs. This hybrid role requires working cross-functionally and managing partnerships from inception through their lifecycle. This includes negotiating and operationalizing licensing agreements and other partnerships, facilitating steering committee meetings, tracking contractual obligations, identifying and escalating risks, and ensuring strong internal alignment. The role may also involve attending conferences and representing Pharmanovia at external meetings and events.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a best-in-class Alliance Management framework.
- Build and manage relationships with Strategic Partners to create strong global alliances.
- Work with external partners and internal stakeholders to understand and operationalize licensing agreements and partnerships.
- Proactively identify risks and challenges, escalating issues as needed.
- Facilitate productive joint steering committee meetings and ensure communication of outcomes.
- Track and monitor contractual obligations and deliverables, ensuring compliance with agreements.
- Negotiate follow-up contractual amendments.
- Coordinate with internal functions to maintain proactive relationships with external partners.
- Support Corporate Development in initiating new partnerships and attend conferences.
- Represent Pharmanovia at external meetings and events.
