The QA Automation Engineer position is a great opportunity for experienced professionals in the field of QA Automation. This role is with one of the leading streaming platforms in the industry and is based in New York. The position is a 12-month contract, and candidates must be eligible to work on a W2 basis.
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be working within a team and specializing in the streaming space. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Conducting automated and manual testing of video streaming services using tools such as Charles Proxy, Cucumber, Java, Javascript, Cypress, etc.
- Creating and executing test documentation, including test cases and issues.
- Representing the QA Team in project, process, and status meetings.
- Utilizing various testing types, such as component, functional, usability, exploratory, sanity, regression, integration, end-to-end testing, etc.
- Ensuring that all video streaming services comply with the latest industry standards and regulations.
- Being a subject matter expert on the project and sharing knowledge throughout the team.
The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing a mix of remote and in-person work in New York. The salary range for the role is between $55 and $80 per hour.
