Job Description:
The Project Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the Project Manager regarding expansion and development initiatives. The assistant will be responsible for reading and understanding layouts related to fit out and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects, preparing reports, and updating all relevant software and reports. The assistant will coordinate between internal departments and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on project schedules. Additionally, conducting research and preparing presentations will be part of the assistant’s responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and monitoring of expansion and development projects.
- Read and understand layouts related to fit-out and MEP projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements and specifications.
- Prepare reports and document project progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
- Update and maintain all relevant software and reports, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project information.
- Coordinate between internal departments and suppliers, facilitating effective communication and follow-up on project activities.
- Conduct research on industry trends, market analysis, and best practices to support project decision-making.
- Prepare presentations and visual materials for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing project updates and outcomes.
- Assist in the coordination of project meetings, workshops, and site visits, ensuring timely scheduling and logistics arrangements.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to identify and resolve project-related issues and risks.
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control.
- Support the implementation of project management tools and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
