Job Description:
Position Title: Topsides Execution Coordinator
Department: Offshore Topsides Delivery
Reports To: Head of Topsides Execution
Job Summary: The Topsides Execution Coordinator oversees the delivery of the Offshore Topsides package equipment and the integration of the Control & Auxiliary Module, High Voltage & Temporary Refuge buildings. The coordinator will provide guidance and support in implementing and completing the Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) scope of work and achieving key milestones. They will be accountable for monitoring the site delivery process, ensuring timely procurement of equipment and materials, and managing any subcontract awards necessary to execute the packages. The coordinator will oversee the execution phase, from design to yard commissioning activities and final sign-off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Head of Topsides Execution to develop and implement strategies for successfully delivering the Offshore Topsides package equipment and building integration.
- Provide expert advice and support to ensure the completion of EPCI scope(s) of work and achievement of critical milestones.
- Oversee the site delivery process, including equipment and material procurement, to ensure timely and efficient execution.
- Manage subcontract awards required for package execution and coordinate activities with subcontractors.
- Monitor the progress of packages and promptly address any issues or delays to minimize the impact on the overall project schedule.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure the packages are designed in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices throughout the execution phase.
- Collaborate with the commissioning team to ensure a smooth transition from construction to yard commissioning activities.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify that work is executed in accordance with project specifications.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Head of Topsides Execution, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Support the resolution of technical and commercial issues that may arise during the execution phase.
