Qualifications and Experience:
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree from a recognized university
- Strong academic background with a distinguished record of teaching and research
- At least 15 years of experience in the field of higher education, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven administrative and managerial skills, with the ability to provide strategic vision and direction to the institution
- Knowledge of the latest developments and trends in higher education at national and international levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Familiarity with the policies, regulations, and procedures of the higher education sector in Pakistan
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction to the institution, ensuring its academic excellence, research productivity, and financial sustainability
- Develop and implement strategic plans and policies to achieve the institution’s goals and objectives
- Promote a culture of innovation, research, and entrepreneurship among faculty, staff, and students
- Foster collaborations and partnerships with national and international organizations to enhance the institution’s reputation and global standing
- Ensure effective governance, accountability, and transparency in all aspects of the institution’s operations
- Engage with stakeholders, including faculty, students, alumni, industry, and government, to build and maintain strong relationships
- Prepare and present regular reports to the relevant authorities on the institution’s performance, achievements, and challenges
