Position: Online/Ecommerce Operations Manager
Job Summary: As an Online/Ecommerce Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple online/e-commerce areas or regions. You will be responsible for managing a team, setting performance goals, driving sales growth, optimizing inventory management, ensuring excellent customer service, and collaborating with the marketing team to implement effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Operations: Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of multiple online/e-commerce areas or regions. Ensure smooth functioning of all operational processes, including order processing, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Performance Management: Set goals and targets for the online/e-commerce team and ensure they are achieved. Monitor individual and team performance, provide feedback and guidance as needed, and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Sales and Revenue Generation: Develop strategies to drive online sales growth and maximize revenue. Monitor sales metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement sales promotions, discounts, and other initiatives to attract and retain customers.
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demands. Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to optimize inventory turnover, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory. Implement inventory management systems and processes to enhance efficiency.
- Customer Service: Maintain a high standard of customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute online marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to attract and retain customers. Provide insights and recommendations based on customer feedback and market trends to improve marketing strategies and drive customer engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing online/e-commerce operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using data analysis tools and platforms.
